The Barn Artisan Market gets part of its name from our historic location, the Shawnessy Barn, which is located at 224 Shawmeadows Rd SW in Calgary. The Barn, as it is affectionately known, is the last Vernacular-style barn within Calgary city limits that is still useable. Originally built in 1915 by local homesteader, John McInnes, it still sits on its original location!
